Assist Youth and Family Director to oversee the operation of summer day camp at the Carls Family YMCA
Digitally create and distribute the weekly newsletter using Canva and communicate effectively with parents using ePACT
Support youth development throughout the summer through programming (literacy, math, sports, life skills, STEAM, etc.)
Coordinate the Meals on Wheels program at our camp
Collaborate with fellow coordinators to produce schedules, create rosters, and plan field trips according to federal grant guidelines

Sales experience as one of the primary customer facing member experience associates
Manage all social media and marketing for the Carls branch using Sprout, Marq, and Canva in collaboration with MarComm guidelines
Create and send email newsletter communications to specified lists such as members, staff, etc.
Coordinate and schedule facility rentals as requested
Create monthly schedule for the Welcome Center
Approve payroll for each pay period
Assist Member Experience Director with membership tasks (usage reports, group exercise attendance, reaching out to members/potential members)
Work with fellow lead staff to further our YMCA's mission throughout the community

Provide excellent customer service to members and guests through greeting, managing and addressing member concerns, and answering phones
Act as a source of information for members and assist them in registering for programs, classes, and events
Sell memberships to potential members and assist them in signing up
Manager on duty responsibilities when scheduled (hourly walk throughs, opening/closing the building)

Collaborate with colleagues to complete a variety of projects including film processing/scanning, scan orders, print orders, photo restoration, etc.
Extensive knowledge of the film development process including chemicals and film types
Knowledgeable of all aspects of the store including products, services, and pricing
Strong customer service skills through in person interaction and answering phones/emails
Participated in the rebranding of the business through mood boards, community engagement, social media, and new in store visuals
Skilled in Photoshop doing photo retouching, sizing, balancing color properties, etc.

Work to make content, such as online courses, accessible for persons with disabilities
Use Adobe programs such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop to edit a variety of content
Recognized by supervisor for outstanding audio recording/editing
Collaborated with the creative team at Science Gallery Detroit to implement their virtual exhibits during Covid

Collaborate with fellow teams to plan and execute photoshoots for the print magazine
Successfully shot and edited multiple shoots for fashion and lifestyle spreads
Exhibit strong communication skills and creative/technical fluency
Document behind the scenes imagery for future social media and marketing purposes
Understanding of the pitch to print process
Knowledge of lighting, camera, and editing processes
